Our Story

Fort Myers Junk Pros was founded to fill a gap in Southwest Florida's junk removal market: a locally owned, fully insured crew that treats every job — whether it's a single sofa or a full estate cleanout — with the same professionalism. The Fort Myers area has national franchise chains that dispatch from outside the region and price accordingly. We live and work here, which means faster scheduling, better knowledge of local donation partners and disposal facilities, and a genuine stake in the communities we serve.

Every job in Lee and Collier county is handled by our own crew — not a subcontractor, not a franchise partner. We know which Cape Coral neighborhoods have narrow canal-front driveways, which Estero communities have HOA vendor access requirements, and which Naples properties have gate codes that need pre-clearance. That local knowledge isn't something a national dispatch center can replicate.

We also know the regional donation landscape. Fort Myers-area Habitat for Humanity ReStore locations, local women's shelters, and community organizations have specific acceptance criteria that change seasonally. We know what they're taking right now, which means more of what we haul gets donated rather than landfilled.

What We Don't Do

We don't handle hazardous waste: paint with liquid remaining, motor oil, chemical solvents, propane tanks, pesticides, or asbestos-containing materials. We don't provide dumpster rentals. We don't do structural demolition. For jobs that require any of these, we'll point you toward the right resource during the walkthrough.

We also don't give binding phone estimates for whole-house or estate jobs. We've seen too many instances where a phone estimate was given without seeing the actual volume, then adjusted upward at the job site. Our policy is to quote after a walkthrough, every time.
